Hatyai 3D2N Trip: DAY 2 (Kim Yong Market> Central Festival> Makro> Asean Trade Bazaar Night Market )

If you haven't read my itinerary on day 1, you can refer here:

Day 2: 28-4-2018 Saturday

Breakfast at the 7-11 convenient store, which is my favourite place in Thailand. Nothing to complain much, you can GET WHAT YOU WANT here~

It is heavenly nice!

Everything is perfect with cheese.

Kim Yong Market

地址: 2, Saphandam Alley, Klong Hae, Hat Yai District, Songkla 90110, Thailand
Open day: Everyday (0600am-1800pm)

Kim Yong Market, which is just a walking distance from our hotel.

Not managed to take photos inside the market because it was too crowded at that time. Basically, it is a "Traditional Pasar" where food, clothes, souvenir, and many other things are sold. If you are looking for those dried fruits & nuts, yesss here is the place where you can get it. Besides, traditional kinds of stuff such as the well-known Thai rice soap (only 80 baht/packet), some medicines and pyjamas mostly can be found at a lower price.

Central Festival
Address: 1518, 1518/1, 1518/2, Kanchanavanich Road, Hat Yai 90110, Thailand
Operating hour: 1000am to 2130pm

Central Festival is considered as a newly opened shopping mall which is located at the tourist area of Hat Yai. To encourage and attract tourists, free shuttle service is provided at certain hotels. Since one of the stops is opposite to our hotel (which is in front of the Red Planet Hotel), it was very convenient for us to travel around. For your information, the last stop of the free shuttle is the Central Festival Shopping Mall; while the detailed timetable for the free shuttle service (as shown below) can be found at every single stop. They followed the schedule exactly, which mean that you will never wait too long for the shuttle service:

Shuttle service runs from 1100 am to 1945 pm every Fri, Sat and Sun.

Lunch at Food Park, Central Festival. It has more than 43 food stalls with various types of delicious Thai food.

Tomyam mihun with pork, the price was considered reasonable but the taste was so-so only. Maybe I chose the wrong food stall, lol.

Next stop, shopping time at Makro, which is opposite to Central Festival. At the main entrance of Central Festival, you will able to see an overhead bridge that linked over to the Makro.

I found that the price here was cheaper as compared to Big C but as you can see in the photo, all of the products are sold in bulk form. Therefore, if you are not planning to purchase that large amount, go for Big C.

Asean Trade Bazaar Night Market
Address: 44, 46, Chotevittayakul 5 Rd, Tambon Hat Yai, Amphoe Hat Yai, Chang Wat Songkhla 90110, Thailand
Business Hours: Wed-Sun (1700-2200pm)

From Central Festival, you can also reach Asean Trade Bazaar Night Market within walking distance (~15 minutes). It is of the same side as Central Festival (We went there by using google map xD), 6 pm is the best time to reach.

Obviously, it is a paradise for girls. For boys, it was at another side which we skipped that area xD No need to explain much for this part, as there are so many websites telling you that how heaven this place is. Just bring your Baht and shop. You will never get enough of it!

That's all for our shopping day 2! Stay tuned for the last day~
